Dr Rachel Brown

Dr Brown has worked as a consultant haematologist in a large university teaching hospital since 2016. She has been the clinical laboratory lead for Haematology for the Manchester Foundation Trust since 2017 and is the general haematology lead. She has a broad haematology clinical practice, including haemato-oncology, haemostasis and thrombosis and general haematological conditions, and she also leads the pre-operative anaemia service. She is a member of the Immunoglobulin Assessment Panel and is the lead for junior doctor training within haematology.
Dr Simon Watt
MBChB, MRCP, FRCPath
Dr Watt is a consultant haematologist and departmental lead who has been both a principal investigator and national chief investigator on over 10 studies. He has taken part in clinical trials in myeloproliferative, lymphoproliferative, myeloma and thrombotic disorders and holds multiple teaching and research roles, such as research lead for the haemato-oncology pathway board.
