Medico-Legal experience
Mr Bahia is undergoing his medico-legal training . He is happy to receive instructions in both personal injury and clinical negligence cases and can turn around reports within 6-8 weeks, sooner if required.
Clinical Practice & Experience
Mr Bahia is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge where he provides an emergency and elective vascular surgery service.
Clinical Interests
He has a special interest in aortic aneurysm, lower limb arterial & venous disease and carotid artery disease. He is a member of a number of hospital programmes and committees aimed at optimising thrombosis treatment, prescribing compliance and improving risk management for vascular patients.
Research Interests
Mr Bahia has a particular interest in aortic aneurysms. His PhD was on the shortfall in survival of patients after abdominal aortic aneurysm repair.
Summary of Publications
Mr Bahia has published extensively and consistently; he has over 25 peer-reviewed publications. He was also a contributor to the Oxford Textbook of Vascular Surgery (2016) and reviews
for the British Journal of Surgery (BJS) and Circulation.
Teaching & Training
Mr Bahia has presented at a number of national and international conferences.
