Mr Rick Miller
Consultant Clinical Dietitian

After graduating in 2007 from the University of St. Andrews with a BSc in Human Biology, Mr Miller has gone on to obtain invaluable experience and education as a Dietitian. In 2008, Mr Miller supplemented his education with an MSc in Sports and Exercise Nutrition and later obtained a PDip in Dietetics (2010). Mr Miller has worked in various posts as an NHS Clinical Dietitian (2010-2013), working with all demographics and both in-patient and outpatient settings. Since then, Mr Miller has primarily been in private practice. He is the Principle Dietitian for both in-patients and outpatients at the King Edward VII’s Hospital, Marylebone. He is also the owner of Miller Health, a mens’ health clinic and personal training consultancy.

Mr Miller primarily focuses on men’s health as part of his practice at Miller Health however he provides support to clients as both a sports and clinical dietitian. Within his practice, he has a special interest in sports medicine, gastroenterology, nutrition, cardiovascular disease, orthopaedic surgery recovery, artificial feeding and holistic diet management.

Mr Miller is a the owner of Miller Heath, where he manages allied healthcare professionals and clinicians to provide high quality health service and personal training for men.

Mr Millers research interests lie in men’s health medicine, preventative cardiovascular disease management, sports medicine, and functional gastrointestinal disease management. His research focuses on enhancing health outcomes through disease prevention, optimising physical performance, and addressing complex gastrointestinal issues.

2008 – Present – Visiting lecturer, vocational skills in nutrition – Loughborough University.
2010-2012 – Lecturer in Nutrition & Dietetics – Hull-York Medical School.
2013-2014 – Senior Lecturer Nutrition & Dietetics – London Metropolitan University.

Mr Miller has obtained an Expert Witness Certificate from Cardiff University (2023). He has been preparing reports for the court since 2018 on various medical negligence cases, including enteral (artificial feeding regimes), malnutrition, and malpractice. Mr Miller is happy to be instructed by both the Claimant and the Defence.
