Miss Stott qualified as registered nurse in September 2003. Since then, she has gone on to further her career and expertise in the field of Cardiology including opening and managing a sector pacing lab and managing and leading teams in Urgent and Emergency care including A&E. Miss Stott achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nursing Practice (2012) Later, Miss Stott undertook a Masters in Senior Leadership at Lancaster University (2024).
Miss Stott has worked across two hospitals, within Greater Manchester in both the acute and community setting. Miss Stott has also managed for several years areas in the Urgent and Emergency care footprint inclusive of the Emergency Department, SDEC (same day emergency care) and Acute Medical Units. She has worked as a Lead Nurse and further obtained promotion to Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing. Miss Stott currently holds the post of Divisional Director of Nursing in the North West of England – Adult Community Division Jan 2025 – present and previously Division of Medicine March 2023-Jan 2025).
Clinical Interests
Miss Stott’s professional interests lie in the delivery and management of integrated community and urgent care services. In her current role, she oversees a range of services within the Community Urgent and Emergency Care Directorate, including the Urgent Care Response Team, an Intermediate Care Facility, the Discharge Team, District Nursing, and a Community Diagnostic Centre. Her focus is on improving patient flow, supporting safe and timely discharge, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care across community settings.
