Dental implants are artificial replacements for tooth roots that are placed into the jawbone. They can be used to support crowns, bridges or dentures when replacing missing teeth.
Cases involving implant dentistry can raise complex medico-legal questions. These may relate to assessment, treatment planning, consent, implant placement, bone grafting, complications and subsequent outcomes.
Our dental implants expert witnesses can provide independent, evidence-based medico-legal opinions and reports. Experts may review dental records, imaging, treatment plans and procedural documentation. They can provide an opinion on matters within their specialist area of expertise.
