Vertigo is a symptom described as a feeling that the environment around a person is spinning. Vertigo is commonly associated with loss of balance, nausea and/or being sick. Several different conditions can cause vertigo, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), migraine, labyrinthitis, and vestibular neuronitis.
