Mrs Annette Hubbard qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1996 and gained her diploma in Nursing Sciences. Following this she received a MSc in Nursing Management from Bath Spa University college in 2004. In 2014 she gained a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Practice and went on to complete MSc in Advanced Practice from the University of the West of England in 2018.
Mrs Annette Hubbard has worked in Primary Care in a GP surgery for the past ten years, where she has been Advanced Clinical Practitioner Lead and mentor for Non-medical Prescribing Colleagues. Mrs Annette Hubbard has worked with in various establishments gaining valuable experience within her Nurse Practitioner roles as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in primary care and a community matron. She has also worked for Medvivo as an Out of hours nurse practitioner where she gained a specialist module in minor Illness and minor injury in children. Annette took on an additional role of Clinical Site manager of a large vaccination centre in Sailsbury, for delivering COVID vaccination programme in 2021.
Other experience includes older persons rehabilitation ward in secondary care, trauma and orthopaedics in secondary care, worked in the prison service as a nurse, educational facilitator of trained nurses, worked as a nurse educating social care workers in residential homes to gain NVQ level 3 and aim to prevent hospital admission and community matron in primary care.

Mrs Annette Hubbard is passionate about Advanced Practice and has expertise in Primary Care with Adults and paediatrics. She has gained additional qualifications from Education for health in Diabetes and Asthma.
