Clinical Practice & Experience
Mr Peterson graduated in 2008 and completed his foundation training, core surgical training and higher surgical training in Merseyside. He has also worked in Australia as well as visiting units in Cape Town, Fukushima, Baltimore, West Palm Beach, Munster and Milan to develop his specialist interest in limb reconstruction surgery. Mr Peterson’s practice encompasses general orthopaedics and trauma of the upper and lower limb in children and adults. He regularly attends national and international conferences and courses to remain up to date with new developments in these fields and is actively involved with education and research.
Clinical Interests
Mr Peterson has specific expertise in complex trauma, bone infection, non-union, post-traumatic arthritis, limb lengthening and limb reconstruction using internal and external devices, acquired and congenital deformity correction, congenital disease, skeletal dysplasia, metabolic bone disease.

Mr Peterson has released publications and presentations in the fields of Adult and Paediatric Trauma, General Orthopaedics and Limb Reconstruction Surgery.
Teaching & Training
Mr Peterson regularly teaches and presents on complex trauma, bone infection, non-union, post-traumatic arthritis, limb lengthening and limb reconstruction using internal and external devices, acquired and congenital deformity correction, congenital disease, skeletal dysplasia and metabolic bone disease at national and international courses and conferences.

Medico-Legal experience
Mr Peterson began medicolegal practice in 2020 after completing formal training as a medico-legal expert with Inspire Medilaw, and subsequently went on to attain the Cardiff University Bond Solon Certificate in Civil Law alongside building a successful medico-legal practice. Mr Peterson is happy to receive instructions from Claimant and Defendant law firms in personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
