Mr Webster graduated from the University of Salford in 2003 as a Registered Nurse (DipHE) with a Diploma in Professional studies in Nursing.
Folliowing this, he studied a BSc(Hons) in Leadership in Health and social care where he graduated from the University of Bolton in 2010 before completing a Post Graduate certificate in Management (PGCM) in 2012.
Mr Webster has worked in Acute and emergency medicine since 2003 across several hospital sites and NHS organisations in a Registered Nurse capacity. From 2008, he has held Nurse leadership and managerial positions within acute NHS trusts and his most recent appointment was at the Bolton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust working as the Quality improvement and transformation Matron where he led improvement agendas across multiple divisions working closely with NHS England, divisional leads and both divisional and executive board members, steering improvements in patient safety, clinical care, operational procedures, flow and capacity.
His areas of clinical expertise are Acute and Emergency Medicine, Same Day Emergency Care, Ambulatory Care, Discharge services and speciality medicine.
Clinical Interests
Mr Webster’s interests rest within acute and emergency care; he is an expert practitioner in the field and is passionate about ensuring the delivery of high quality, up to date, evidence based nursing care, fostering a culture of openness, honesty and integrity both in his own and his colleague’s practice.
He is currently undertaking further study in relation to patients receiving long term parental nutrition to widen his skills repertoire and demonstrate his commitment to continued professional development and lifelong learning.
