Medico-Legal experience

Dr Haye enjoys receiving instructions from both Claimant and Defendant law firms in personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

Clinical Practice & Experience

Dr Haye has over 15 years of clinical experience working across mental and physical health services. She is currently a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist in the NHS and is on the specialist register of Clinical Neuropsychologists which is the gold standard for Neuropsychology practice in the UK.  She is accredited in a range of therapies specialised in addressing complex trauma presentations, treatment resistant mental health difficulties and somatic complaints. She is also experienced in the supervision, training and management of psychologists and other healthcare professionals.

Clinical Interests

Dr Haye is passionate about working with a wide range of long-term health conditions and acquired neurological conditions providing specialist assessment, rehabilitation, therapy supervision, consultation and team and family support. She is also interested in trauma and humanitarian response.

Research Interests

Dr Haye is interested in parenting and family relationships following a neurological condition or following catastrophic injury. Also, treatment approaches to functional neurological disorders.

Management Experience

Dr Haye is lead psychologist in an NHS community rehabilitation service. She is also director of a private practice and has managed teams internationally providing humanitarian response in conflict zones.

Summary of Publications

Dr Haye is a reviewer for disability and rehabilitation journal and clinical psychology forum. She has publications relating to neurodevelopmental conditions, outcome measurement in neuropsychology, leadership and humanitarian response.

Teaching & Training

Dr Haye is a fellow of the higher education academy (FHEA) which is a formal recognition of impact and leadership in university level teaching and learning, She is currently a research supervisor for the Manchester University Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She regularly provides placements for clinical psychologists in training from the Liverpool, Manchester and Lancaster Doctorate courses. She has previously held visiting lecturer positions at Staffordshire University and Solomons Doctorate course. She also worked as a lecturer for 6 years with the Open University.
